Cheryl was born in French Camp, California. She and her family moved to Bakersfield, California in 1966, where she attended Beardsley / Standard Elementary and North High School. In 1993 she moved to Springhill, Louisiana where she resided until her unexpected death (due to an illness). Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother, Dixie Maxwell; uncle, Jim Bob Reynolds; aunt, Joy Anderson; and grandmother, Georgia Mays. Cheryl leaves behind many people to cherish her memory, Tracy Rayborne her companion. He loved and cared for her the past 13 years; son, Michael Ingram and girlfriend, Misty; daughter, Jennifer Ingram and fiancé, Mark; sisters and their spouses, Rena and Allen Hamblin, Deanna and Glen Wreyford, Lori and Kenny Lowe; grandchildren, Brittney, Gabriella, Jaylynn, and Christopher; uncle, Richard Mays and wife, CarrieAnn and family who we thank so much for the numerous phone calls and encouragement to keep everyone updated on Cheryls condition during her illness and hospital stay; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special little boy Ashton whom she cared for and loved. Cheryl loved her family, her animals, music, having a good time and took great pride in keeping a spotless home. She was the type of person who was the boss; she loved to argue and at times could be a little ornery. But, then again would give a family member, friend or a complete stranger the shirt right off her back. Cheryl had a very caring heart. Once you got through the rough exterior you would find out just what a very loving and caring person she really was. Cheryl we love you with all our hearts and miss you dearly.
