Donald E. Jacobson 
Jan. 4, 1928 - Oct. 2, 2005 

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Southern California for 
Donald E. Jacobson, 77, who passed away October 2, 2005. Mr. Jacobson was born 
on January 4, 1928, in Ironwood, Michigan where he attended local schools, and 
resided in Kern County for 12 years. He worked as an insurance adjuster for 15 
years. Don enlisted in the U.S. Navy, at 17 years old, and proudly served for 
over 22 years. He was a member of the Navy/Marines Fleet Reserve Association. 
Don was very much a family man. He was a kind, loving, gentle, husband, father 
and friend to many. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Pearl Lee 
Brashears-Jacobson; daughters, Sue and Denise Jacobson; sons, Donald and 
Robert Jacobson and their families and sisters, Nancy and Carol, both of 
Ironwood, Michigan. The family wishes to thank the nursing and staff at 
Beverly Manor. No visitation is scheduled.
