Father Craig Harrison will officiate and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Jimenez was born December 15, 1928 and had been a resident of Bakersfield all of his life. He had been an electrician for 40 years. He was a veteran of U. S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local #428, having served as Treasurer, and on the Executive Board from 1974- 1977 and entered their Hall of Fame in 1990. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #26 and Druid's Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Luisa Jimenez, sisters, Petra Bidabe, Angie Jimenez, Adella Enriquez, Blanch Rodriguez and MaryLou Haines. Survivors include his son, Jess Arty Jimenez; daughter, Corinne Jimenez; brothers, Robert and Rudy Jimenez; sisters, Josephine Mendez, Mary Salcido and Yolanda Ortega; and by Rita Marcella and numerous nieces and nephews. Casketbearers will be Robert Jimenez, Rudy Jimenez, Richard Gil Guillory, Louis Pina, Joe and Robert Enriquez. Honorary Casketbearers will be James Haines, John Beecham, Sam Alderete, Herbert Zamora, Al Jimenez and Herbert Zamora. We love you - Rest in Peace because youre a COOL CAT.
