She attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help School. In 1919 she married Walter H. Ebering. She lived in Aberdeen, Washington from 1919-1939. She moved to Portland, Oregan and worked at Boeing Aircraft and Jantezen Knitting Mills. She retired in 1959 and came to California to be with family. The Kern County Braille Center and Bakersfield Community House kept Julia very busy. She was awarded R.S.V.P. Silver Tray in 1977 and the R.S.V.P. Silver Bowl in 1982. Her hobbies were bingo, knitting, china painting and crocheting - in that order. Preceding her in death are her parents, Andrew and Theresa Tauscher; brother, Joseph; sisters, Mary, Agnes and Cecelia; her first husband, Walter H. Ebering and her second husband, Elmer Johnson. Her survivors include daughter, Annetta Christensen; grandsons, Richard Polson and his wife, Bonnie of Fresno, CA, Ken Polson and his fiancée, Jessica Henry of Chico, CA, David Polson McIntosh of Florida, Tom Polson of Santa Monica, CA, Donny and Danielle Polson and niece, Helen Schrader of Portland, OR.
