Dorothy May Jones 
June 26, 1926 - Nov. 22, 2005 

Visitation begins Monday, November 28th, from 4-8 p.m. A graveside service 
will be held Tuesday November 29th at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Sunny Slope, 
with Pastor Pat Roberts officiating. Dorothy was born in Los Angeles, CA to 
Matthew and Mabel Jones and she passed away in Bakersfield, CA on November 22, 
2005. Dottie worked as a food server at various local eateries, most notable 
Banduccis Corner and retired as a cashier from Floyds, So. Chester, 
Bakersfield after 11 years of employment. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ. 
Survivors are her loving children and spouses, Michael and Candy Buchak, Linda 
and Terry Cullum; loving grandchildren, Brandon, Heather, Tysanne and Mollie; 
loving great-grandchildren, Kaylene and Christopher; loving sister and brother-
in-law, Norma and Bill Newton; loving sisters-in-law, Mary Buchak and families 
and Dorothy Jones and families; Bassett & Bryant families; loving best friend, 
Clyda Wilkerson; numerous friends from Floyds Hardware Store; Loving friends, 
Shirley, Marguerite, Louise, Esther, Cathy, Patsy and Vern, Pete, Jimmy and 
Martha, Ken, Dejay, Jan, Jenny, Austin and Justin, Jeri, Michael, Erin, Katie, 
Mikey, Dale, Rhonda, Glenna, Paula, and lastly Richard & Teri. Special loving 
thanks to Dr. Dozier & staff, Optimal Hospice and our friend and nurse, Cyndi 
Rangel, Stacy and Mae from Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary. Donations may 
be sent to CBCC, Optimal Hospice or the Aids Foundation in honor of Dorothy 
and her sons.
