Pamela began her childhood education at Potomac Elementary School, Lincoln Jr. High and graduated from Foothill High School. Pam accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior before her passing. Pam enjoyed a professional life which consisted of working for 10 years at Robinson-May Company, 7 years with Ms. Carlenes Daycare and 9 months at Sherman Group Homes. Pamela met and united in marriage to Jonathan Fulmer II and from this union celebrated the birth of a daughter, Krasha and a son, Jonathan III. Pam later met and married Kelvin Smith and from this union celebrated the birth of a daughter, Kieonna Smith. Pam enjoyed spoiling her children, grandchildren and spending quality time with her family. Pam was also known for her love for shopping, neat style of dressing and her love for music. Although preceded in death by her mother, Donnie Ray; a special aunt, Bonnie Faye and a niece, DeShelle Blackman, she leaves to cherish endless memories of her life: her husband, Kelvin Smith; two daughters, Krasha (husband, Anthony James) and Kieonna Smith; one son, Jonathan Fulmer III (wife, Gabriela), all of Bakersfield, CA; six grandchildren, Pamela, Rodrinay, Destiny, Honesty, Anthony, Mariah and one grandchild due in January; her father, Charles Jones Sr. (wife, Jodi) and her grandmother, Clarice Jeffery; seven sisters, Gloria, Carolyn, Tammy, Felicia, Georgina and Sandra, all of Bakersfield, CA and Vicki of Los Angeles, CA; nine brothers, Charles, Darrell, Mitchell, George III, Chucky, Tony and Danny, all of Bakersfield, CA and Sheldon of Virginia and Devin of Los Angeles; six brothers-in-law, Chevelle, Peter, Kenneth, Fred, Daryl and Melvin, all of Bakersfield, CA; four sisters- in-law, Juanita, Sherry, Jenny and Kim, all of Bakersfield, CA; Carlene and Stephen Logan who were not only Pams employers but viewed by her as her second parents; two special friends, Annie Richmond of Bakersfield, CA and Lisa Blackman of Los Angeles, CA. Pam is loved by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends here in Bakersfield and abroad. A viewing and visitation is scheduled for Friday, October 14, 2005, from 1:00 8:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Beloved Care Funeral Services, 115 18th St. The wake service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2005, at Church of God, 100 Oswell Street, at 9:00 a.m. Interment to immediately follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
