Tim was born on November 13, 1954, in Bakersfield, CA, to George Nelson and Cherry Lynne Jackson. He passed away in his home with his loving family and friends by his side. Tim graduated from BHS in 1973 and attended two years at BC. Tims interests were baseball and wood shop. Tims love for building and working with wood later became his occupation and T J Construction was formed, later known as Tim Jackson Builders. Tim was in the process of building his dream home, Margarita Ranch, when he became ill. In recent years, Tim was involved in the sport of team penning and enjoyed traveling to competitions around California. Tim was a fun-loving person with a great sense of humor. He loved a good joke and had a contagious laugh. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He loved his life. Tim was preceded in death by his father, George Nelson Jackson; his grandparents, Woody Mitchell and Wayne and Opal Fisher. He is survived by his loving mother, Cherry Lynne Jackson; brothers, Chris and Jody; children, Nicholas, Todd and Savannah, as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tims caregiver, William, and to the many friends that brought food and extended their unconditional love to Tim during his illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society for the research of brain tumors.
