Melissa Joann Jaquez 
Services: Friday, June 10, 1 p.m. 

Melissa Joann Jaquez, age 34, went home to be with our Lord June 3, 2005. 
Known by her friends as Missy, she was born in Bakersfield. Services will be 
held at Greenlawn Mortuary, 3700 River Blvd. Viewing at 10 a.m. and Christian 
burial at 1 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2005. She leaves behind her soul mate Erick 
Mendoza from McFarland; three daughters, Jessica, Kimberly and Denise; her 
parents Richard and Mary Lou Jaquez; grandmother Ruby Hernandez; two sisters 
Sandra Hernandez and Susan Jaquez; one brother, Richard Jaquez, Jr.; uncles, 
aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins who loved her very much. She was preceded 
in death by her grandparents Daniel and Mary Jaquez. Pallbearers: Pascual, 
Tim, Dominic and Mike Hernandez. Honorary Pallbearers: Benito Rojas and Carlos 
Hernandez, Jr. Is. 40:31 "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their 
strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles". Melissa, soar like an 
eagle!
