Hilda Javner 
June 15, 1934 - August 31, 2005 

Hilda was born in Chicago, Illinois and had been a resident of Oildale for 
over 30 years until her passing. Hilda owned and operated an ice cream shop 
and also worked for Skaggs Drugstore for over 20 years. When she wasnt working 
she enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her many friends at the Moose Lodge. 
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Donald Javner; her children, 
Ernestine, David, Sharon, Allen and Mark; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-
grandchildren; her sister, Ruth and a brother, Owen. Services will be held at 
Mish Funeral Home Chapel, 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 3rd and a 
visitation will follow until 5:00 p.m.
