She spent 70 years here in Bakersfield then met and married C.A. Ingram in 1940. They had 55 wonderful years together, spending their retirement fishing, hunting and camping. They never did have children. Irene is preceded in death by her husband, C.A. (Cliff) Ingram, sisters and brother-in-laws, Lola and E.F. (Tiny) Bash, Chloe and Jim McKnight; brother and sister-in-law, Tom Jones and Fredonia Jones of Bakersfield. She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Bob Radovich of Las Vegas, Nevada. Irene was blessed with three generations of loving nieces and nephews including the families of John Lackie, Roberta McCarthy, Gary Palladino, Gary Wested, Jim McKnight, Tom Jones and Bob Radovich. Pallbearers will include Mark McCarthy, Kevin McCarthy, Brian Boozer, Todd Boozer, John Coleman and Jim Palladino. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Hoffman Hospice, 5300 California Ave, Suite 1, Bakersfield, CA 93309.
