Kizer 1922 - 2005 Jack E. Kizer was born in Burlington, Iowa on October 14, 1922 and passed away peacefully October 28, 2005, at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Jack is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy. Also, Jack leaves behind his son, Robert E. Kizer and wife, Sue; daughter, Deborah Shaw and husband, Rick, all of Bakersfield. Jack also leaves his daughter, Cheryl Jensen and husband, Gunnar of Fresno; along with four grandchildren, Jim Kyles, Kelly Bornstein, Darin Kizer and Jeffrey Nemeth; four great-grandchildren will also share memories of Jack and they include: James Kyles, Jackson Kyles, Chad Williams and Emily Bornstein. Jack served in the Army Air Corps during WWII in the marching and jazz bands. He continued a career in the music business for several years until he became a salesman for Diamond International until his retirement in 1984. Jack requested no service or visitation.
