Eric West officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. Patricia Denise King was born on January 25, 1955, in Bakersfield, California. She was the eldest of three daughters born to George King Jr. and Dorothy King. Tricia, as family members called her, gave birth to one daughter. She graduated from Foothill High School and later moved to Long Beach, California to start a life on her own. She was a competitive athlete and played on a local softball team. Patricia was no stranger to hard work, sometimes holding multiple jobs at once. She enjoyed music, playing pool, watching cartoons, and laughing out loud. She loved to cook, no matter what the occasion. They say a true friend will help you do anything. And thats exactly what she was to so many people around her. She was a giving person, always putting others needs before her own. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Deedi Stuart and grandson, Devyn Johnson of Bakersfield; her mother, Dorothy King and father, George King Jr. of Bakersfield; two sisters, Karen Nealy of Bakersfield and Sandra Wickliffe of Long Beach; a brother-in-law, Monzel Wickliffe of Long Beach; a half-brother, LaParker King of Bakersfield and a host of family and friends who love her dearly.
