Glenn was born in Tulare, CA and raised in Alpaugh, CA. He joined the military and proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. In 1957, Glenn married the love of his life, Carolyn Jane Jenkins of Shafter, CA and they made their home in Bakersfield, CA. He was employed by Cummins for 20 years and was a respected member of Central Church of Christ. Glenn was a loving and devoted husband, a patient and caring Dad, and a proud Papo. He was known for his quick wit and awesome sense of humor. He had many special, lifelong friends who loved and prayed for him. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Carolyn Knox and their four daughters, Melanie Craig of Bakersfield; Lorri Craig and son-in-law, Mark of Stockton, CA; Terri Tuttle of Bakersfield; Tammi Miller and son-in-law, Trema of Bakersfield; 11 granddaughters and 2 grandsons and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of two great-granddaughters. He will be met in Heaven by parents, Ira and Effie Knox; brother, Earl Knox; grandson, Wayne Emory and numerous other loved ones. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the caregivers, Odyssey Hospice and Clay and Rose Jenkins. Please join us for graveside services at Shafter Cemetery, Thursday, July 7, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. Daddy You bravely fought your battle for 2 years. Finally, you can rest your beautiful blue eyes. Now, all answers will be known, all pain will be gone, and only happiness will remain for all eternity. You Will Be Greatly Missed.
