Eva was born November 30, 1909, in Mishawaka, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Clarence Krekeler. While living in Taft, California, Eva was a member of St. Mary's Young Lady's Institute. After moving to Bakersfield, she was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Her survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, George and Sheila Krekeler of Phoenix, AZ and Steven and Mary Ellen Krekeler of Monrovia, CA; her daughters and sons-in-law Roberta and Earl Blalock of La Habra, CA and Susan and Pete Granucci of Bakersfield, CA; her sister, Alice Pritts of Mishawaka, IN; 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren. All will miss her sweet and gentle spirit and her loving and patient manner. A Memorial Mass for Eva will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 124 Columbus St., Bakersfield, CA on Tuesday, May 3, 10 a.m. Additional Comments: Volunteer submission - No relation to deceased.
