Dale Alan LaPlante 
3/22/1956 - 9/9/2005 

Dale Alan LaPlante was born on March 22, 1956, in Weirton, West Virginia to 
Irene and Richard LaPlante, and passed away at home with his family by his 
side on September 9, 2005. Dale grew up in Fresno, and has lived in Kern 
County for the last 30 years. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Judy of 23 
years, and took great pride in his family. Dale loved to go camping and 
fishing, and enjoyed watching auto racing and working around the house. Dale 
was currently employed with the Kern County Sheriffs Department, after leaving 
Kern County General Services, as an Air Conditioning and Heating Technician. 
Survivors include his loving wife, Judy; his son, Jeff Tensley and wife, Lori; 
his son, Joey Tensley and wife, Jennifer; and his grand-children, Bailey 
Tensley and Oliver Tensley. A visitation will be held at Kern River Family 
Mortuary, 1900 N. Chester Ave., on Tuesday, September 13, from 5:00 p.m. 8:00 
p.m. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, at 10:00 
a.m., at Greenlawn Cemetery, on Panama Lane. In lieu of flowers, donations may 
be made to The American Cancer Society or Optimal Hospice Care.
