Recitation of the Rosary for Rosalyn Lewis, 86, will be this evening, Tuesday, 
January 31st, at 7:00 p.m., at Doughty-Calhoun-OMeara Funeral Home. A Mass of 
Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 
on Wednesday, February 1, 2006, at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Father Ralph Belluomini will 
be the Celebrate and entombment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Rosalyn was 
born to Polish immigrants, Stan and Rose Janowski on July 17, 1919, in the 
Bakersfield home where she resided until her passing on January 28, 2006. Her 
life was always oriented around family whether it was gardening, sewing, 
crosswords or just being with family brought her great pleasure. Mrs. Lewis is 
survived by her children, Brian Lewis, Jeanne Greer, Micheal Lewis and 
Patricia Hooton; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded 
in death by her husband of 38 years, Paul, in 1976. If desired memorial 
contributions may be made in Rosalyns memory to the Alzheimers Disease 
Foundation of Kern County, 5500 Olive Drive, Bakersfield, CA 93308. Doughty-
