Agnes Maurine Schneider
1923 - 2005

A Celebration of Life with Memorial Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 
April 30, at 11:00 a.m., in the Garden at Mission Family Mortuary for Agnes 
maurine Schneider, 82, who died April 24, in a Bakersfield Hospital. Pastor 
Floyd Jordan of the New Life Community will be in charge of the Celebration, 
burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. 

She was born July 4, 1923, in Golden, Texas and has lived here for the past 60 
years. She was affiliated with the Fairfax School in the caferteria preparing 
and serving food to school children. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved 
spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies included cooking, 
gardening, crocheting and a good game of Black Jack.

She is survived by her three children, Debra Lynn Yadon and Mark Schneider, 
both of Bakersfield and Jim Schneider of Tehachapi; a son-in-law, Tim Yadon; a 
daughter-in-law, Jana Schneider; and seven grandchildren, Amy, Scott, Katie 
and Jennifer Yadon, Jared, Judd and Nicholas Schneider; a sister, Marjorie 
Thomas of Bakersfield; and a brother, James Bernice Leonard of Selma, Alabama 
and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Three brothers and four sisters 
preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. 5 p.m., in 
the Fireside Room in Mission Family Mortuary, California at S Street. She will 
be deeply missed by her Family and all who knew her.
