Doris Elaine Harrison (Meemo) 
Services: Fri., June 17, 11 a.m. 

Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., 
Friday, June 17th, at 11:00 a.m., for Doris Hylton-Harrison, 85, of 
Bakersfield, who passed away June 13, 2005, in a Bakersfield hospital. Father 
Craig Harrison will officiate. Doris was born February 9, 1920 in Glasgow, 
Montana to Irene and Wallace Levandoski. She moved to California in 1939. She 
had been a waitress for over 40 years, having worked for Banducci's and 
Freddie's Top of the Hill before retiring from Freddie's Skyway House in 1982. 
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jim Hylton and Tom Harrison and 
siblings, Bob, Louie and Helen. Survivors include her daughters, Deenie Massey 
(Donnie); Vickie Thieben, Roxanne Hylton-Willoughby (Jim) and Tamee Hylton; 
grandchildren, Staci Charlton, Bob Watkins, Renee Massey, Dennis Massey 
(Nicole), Cheyanne Antongiovanni (Tim), Cimaron Hylton (Janet) and Meghan Reed-
Hylton; and brother, Jerry Yates. The family would like to send a special 
thank-you to Doris neighbors, Paul, whom she enjoyed having coffee with, and 
his wife, Cha Cha; friends in Lone Pine, CA, Parkview Julian and anybody who 
made her smile. Mom loved to care for her garden and collect flowers to 
display in her home. She made sure the birds had seed and the hummingbirds had 
drink. We thank her for her kindness, love and memories. God Bless You Mom. In 
lieu of flowers, please plant some flowers in your garden in Doris' memory. 
Visitation will be Thursday, June 16th from 3:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. at Greenlawn 
Mortuary.
