Maria Elia Leyva (Ama) 
September 9, 1933 July 5, 2005 

Visitation for Maria Elia Leyva will be held at Hillcrest Mortuary on Friday 
evening July 8, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. and graveside services will be held at 
Union Cemetery on Saturday, July 9, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. Maria was born 
September 9, 1933, in Juarez, Mexico. She married the love of her life Pedro 
Camargo Leyva and they were married for 53 years. Maria was a loving and 
giving woman. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-
grandmother to her family. She was always there with a helping hand and had 
great love and strength for her family. It is impossible to imagine the loss 
we feel of this heart giving woman. She will forever be missed. She is 
preceded in death by her parents, Reynaldo and Eva Nevarez and her sister, Luz 
Nevarez. Survivors include her loving husband, Pedro; sons, Marcos, Rene, Jose 
and wife, Rosa, Jesse and wife, Veronica, Pedro and wife, Jessica; daughters, 
Irma and fiancé, Roman Nieto, Yolanda and Esther, many grandchildren and great-
grandchildren.
