Chaplain Gary Bashor will officiate. Ray was born in Kingsburg, California, and was raised and educated in Bakersfield, having graduated form East Bakersfield High School. After graduating, he served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. When the war ended , Ray returned to Bakersfield and joined his father in running Ray Lobre Insurance. He married Lois Jean Yunker in 1947, and together they had three sons. Ray enjoyed the outdoors and took his family on many camping trips in the Sierra Mountains. After working in the insurance business for 25 years, he sold it and spent the next 30 years living his dream in Ennis, Montana. His wife, Jean, preceded him in death. Ray is survived by his three sons, Robert Ray Lobre III and his wife, Lucinda, Frank Lobre, and Tony Lobre; along with two grandchildren, Ryan Lobre and Mindy Brewer and her husband, Michael. The family would like to thank Madison Valley Manor in Ennis, MT, for the wonderful care they provided Ray during his long illness.
