A wonderful father papi to his three children and their spouses, Yolanda and Robert Savedra, Juan F. and Maria Luera, and Dora and Frank Cornejo. He leaves us his strength and courage to be strong; he leaves us kind hearted and forgiving. Dad loved us with his caring ways. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Gucio was his nickname. He showed them love and thought out their lives. They are young adults now, with many sweet memories that will live in their hearts forever. He always had hugs and kisses for them as a token of his love. His grandchildren are, Anthony Savedra, Monica Cornejo, Marisela Ibarra, Michelle Cornejo, and Crystal Luera. He is a great grandfather to two, Maria and Marisol Ibarra. He leaves to be in his mothers arms and in Gods glory, so they can keep him safe and he can rest in peace. He was ready to be with the Lord. Surviving Luera Family: brothers and sisters, Joe, Tona, Aleja, Marcy, Victor, Mickey, Lupe, Angie, and Louie; and numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was a friend to the young and old, always with a smile. A friendly kind of a guy. A pocket full of friends held close to his heart. To hear his stories of days gone by, brought so many memories that would bring a smile to his face. He laid to rest some friends through his days, but always said he would meet them again someday. Thanks to everyone for all the friendship you gave him, to the man we honor todayyour FRIEND. God took a man, father, who always worked hard so his labor on earth was done; his talents were many. So on angels wings he left us to labor in Heaven. In his shiny boots, his last ride he took was made of clouds in the shape of his Ford truck, waving goodbye with a smile he floats to Heaven to sit by Gods side. Goodbye for now, for now you will rest in peace. Pallbearers will be Juan Luera, Anthony Savedra, Tony Ibarra, Jesse Ibarra, Rebun Subia, and William Cameron.
