Steve was born March 28, 1925 in Aliquippa, PA to John and Violet (Minnich) Malich. He was in the U.S. Navy - USS Fanshaw Bay during WWII with an honorable discharge in 1945. He is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign War and a member of the American Legion Post 26. Steve worked for the U. S. Post Office for 25 years before retiring. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia; children, Pam Roark, Peggy Martin, Steve and Doug Malich and Patty Russell; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Helen Lovett of Bakersfield and Margaret Woodworth of Illinois; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Davidovich. Visitation will be Sunday January 8th, from noon to 5 p.m., at Mish Funeral Home.
