Molly was born in London, England on Dec. 19, 1920. In her youth she was a champion gymnast and during World War II, she served in the land army and as an anti-aircraft gunner in London. She and her husband William “Bill” Gerring lived in Africa from 1950 to 1958 after which they moved back to England. They came to the United States in 1966, moving to their home in Sand Canyon in 1978. Molly was a wonderful seamstress and was known for he knitted hats and sweaters. Molly is survived by her son, William John Gerring of Sand Canyon; and sister, Pat. She was predeceased by her husband William Gerring in 1992; and sisters, Marjorie and Edie.
