Ruth Irene Moan

Services: Mon., Oct. 10, 11:00 a.m. 

Those who were blessed to know Ruth would all agree she was a walking 
definition for the word lady. When Ruths family members fussed over how 
perfect she was, she would always insist they stop! They never did stop, nor 
will they. Instead, her family enjoyed all of her charm, kindness, and grace 
even as they sat at her bedside when she went to be with our Lord. Ruth was 
preceded in death by her husband, Leo Moan; her brother, Robert Mann; her 
sister, Margaret Sporer; and her two sons, James and Robert Moan. She leaves 
behind her brother, Horace Mann; sister, Jane Wheinhold; daughter and son-in-
law, Patricia and Van Payne; her son and daughter-in-law, Leo and Sherry Moan; 
granddaughter, Shari White and her husband, Paul White; granddaughter, Monica 
McCarthy and her husband, Mark McCarthy; four great- grandchildren; Pee-Jay 
Herda, Kristin White, Britney White, and Zachary McCarthy; and nine other 
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who reside in Pennsylvania. You 
may say goodbye to Ruth at Greenlawn Mortuary Southwest, on Monday October 10, 
2005. A viewing will be offered at 9:00 a.m., and will continue until the 
graveside service begins at 11:00 a.m.
