Services: Wed., Jan. 11, 10:00 a.m. 

Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 
Panama Ln., on Wednesday, January 11th, at 10:00 a.m., for Consuelo O. 
Martinez, 89, who passed away on January 5, 2006 in Bakersfield. Consuelo was 
born November 8, 1916 in Morenci, Arizona and resided in Kern County for 40 
years. She was a teacher in Mexico/homemaker and loved gardening. She was 
preceded in death by her husband Jose Navarro Martinez and daughter Antonia 
Martinez. Consuelo is survived by her children; Augustina Martinez, Pedro 
Martinez and his wife, Julie, Juan C. Martinez and his wife, Pam, Jose O. 
Martinez and his wife, Maxine, Consuelo Chairez and her husband, Eligio, 
Rachel Torres and her husband, John, and Daniel Martinez and his wife, 
Michelle. She is also survived by her 22 grandchildren and 16 great-
grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. 
Visitation begins Tuesday, from 5-9 p.m.
