Kenneth Ray Mason 
Sept. 16, 1953 - Nov. 16, 2005 

Memorial services for Kenneth Ray Mason will be held at Potter's House 
Christian Fellowship (630 Bernard Street) on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 19, 2005 
at 2:00 P.M. Kenneth was born September 16 ,1953 in Dexter, Missouri and he 
passed away November 16, 2005 in Bakersfield, California surrounded by his 
family. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Leota Mason and his 
brother, Joy Mason. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 18 years, Sue Mason; 
son, Eddie Mason, daughter and son-in-law, Cora and Don Mead; daughter, 
Jennifer Ivey; eight grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Samuel 
Thorp; sister, Kay Weed; numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, 
Stoney. Kenneth moved to the Bakersfield area with his family at the age of 8, 
attending schools in the Arvin and Lamont areas. In 1987 he met Sue. They were 
married November 11, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Shortly before his death they 
celebrated their 18th anniversary. His spirit lives forever in the comfort of 
our hearts. A small gathering will accompany the memorial service and food 
will be served. Flowers may be delivered to the church any time after 10:00 
A.M. Saturday.
