Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Thursday afternoon September 15, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Pastor K. Andrew Walker will officiate. Roxanne was born December 19, 1953 in Marietta, Georgia and she passed away September 9, 2005 in Bakersfield, California. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Gerber and her father, John McTyre. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rebeka and Jason Nobles; daughter, Jodi Johnson; mother, Betty McTyre; grandchildren, Risa Burbano, Karly Nobles, Paul Nobles, Mathew Nobles, Joseph Nobles, Mikiah O'Neill, Jazen O'Neill, Michael O'Neill Jr.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Jarvis Smith and Sheila and Vince Williams; twin sister, Dianne McTyre; brother and sister-in- law, Gene and Sharon McTyre; brothers, Tom McTyre, David McTyre, Stan McTyre and Marvin McTyre as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Roxanne loved gardening and flowers. She had a terrific spirit and was a ball to hang out with. She enjoyed camping, music, the beach and being outdoors. Her hobbies were crossword puzzles, playing cards and reading between the lines. Her favorite television show was Gunsmoke and Jimmy Smits was her favorite actor. Most of all, Roxanne loved her children and grandchildren. She gave them all of herself and she refused anything in return. She was a joy to have and she will be loved forever.
