Raymond G. Morin 
Aug. 6, 1927 - Dec. 25, 2005 

Raymond G. Morin went to be with the Lord on Christmas day in Bakersfield, 
California. Recitation of the Rosary will be held today, Thursday, Dec. 29, at 
6:00 p. m. in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., preceded by a three 
hour visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 30, 
at 10:00 a.m. in San Clemente Mission, 1305 Water St., with interment 
following in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Raymond was born in Uvalde, Texas and 
moved to Bakersfield in 1934. He was an Army veteran serving in Germany and 
Korea reaching the Corporal status. He worked as a truck driver for many years 
retiring and spending more time with family. Raymond was preceded in death by 
his parents, Patricio and Beatrice Morin; son, Raymond Morin Jr.; brother, 
Encarnicion (Det) Morin; and sister, Corina Beltran. He is survived by his 
children, Raymond Shawn Morin; Mary (Joey) Tafoya, Christina Moraga, Raylene 
Villanueva, Debbie Morin, Raymond Morin III; Chester Rubio, Denise Aguilera 
and Helen Gomez; 33 grandchildren; 31 great- grandchildren; brother, Martin 
Morin and many nieces and nephews. Raymond was a great man and was loved by 
many. He had a heart of compassion and enjoyed helping those in need. Raymond 
was a dedicated family man always finding humor in conversation. Your smile we 
will miss. Love you......
