Morris. He was the third born of four boys and two girls. In 1947, after serving in the Army Infantry in World War II, he moved to Torrance where most of his family had relocated. He attended a college in Los Angeles for instruction in the dry-cleaning business. On Jan. 29, 1949, he married Ina Faye Evans in Yuma, Ariz., and resided in Torrance until they moved to Stallion Springs in 1978. He was a dry-cleaner by profession and owned Clark’s Cleaners in Torrance for 30 years. He was a member of the Lions Club, VFW and the Moose Lodge here in Tehachapi for many years and looked forward to going into the Moose Lodge everyday for morning coffee and camaraderie with the Ma Barkers Bunch. Clark was preceded in death by both parents and three brothers, Bob, Don and Jack. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ina. Other survivors include son, Larry Morris and wife Jenni of Tehachapi; daughter, Jeanette Manno and husband Robert of Rancho Cucamonga; grandsons, Larry Morris Jr. and wife Shannon of Rancho Cucamonga; Robert Manno Jr. of Rancho Cucamonga; and Shane Morris of Tehachapi; granddaughters, Sheila Washington and husband Ray of San Antonio, Texas; Jill Avila and husband Frank of Upland; Amanda Manno of Rancho Cucamonga; and Sara Morris of Tehachapi; great-grandson, Marcus Washington; great-granddaughters, Lily Manno, Kylie Washington, Gianna Avila and Leila Manno; and sisters, Agnes Juge of Fallbrook and Rose McCoy of Oceanside. He also had many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews of which he was very fond. A memorial service was held Friday, Nov. 4, at the Wood Family Funeral Service Chapel. Father Joel Davadilla officiated at the service. Wood Family Funeral Service handled the arrangements. The family suggests that memorials be made to Optimal Hospice Foundation, 4800 Stockdale Highway, Suite 215, Bakersfield, CA 93303.
