Margaret E. Thompson
Aug. 27, 1930 - Apr. 19, 2005

Visitation for Margaret Eleanor (MacKie) Thompson will be held at Basham 
Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.) on Friday, April 22, 2005 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. 
and graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Saturday 
morning, April 23, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. Pastor Wendel Vinson will officiate. 

Margaret was born in Whittier, California on August 27, 1930 and she passed 
away in Bakersfield on April 19, 2005 with her family by her side after a 
brief battle with cancer.

Margaret is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Nancy Crowell 
of Lancaster, CA; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Larry Dardzinski of 
Scottsdale, AZ; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Leslie Thompson; son and 
daughter-in-law, Jeff and Tami Thompson; daughter and son-in-law, Terry and 
Kenny Wiggins all of Bakersfield, CA; brother and sister-in-law, James and 
Linda MacKie; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Margaret graduated from Beverly Hills High School in 1947 and she moved to 
Bakersfield in 1950. Some of her passions in life were her special love for 
roses, raising and showing purebred cats, traveling with her children and 
their families and decorating her house with antiques and beautiful 
collectibles. 

Mom, you have imprinted our hearts with precious memories to last for all of 
eternity.
