Adelina Flora Montoya
3/29/1922 - 5/2/2005

Visitation will be held Monday from 3 to 9 p.m. May 9, 2005, at Hopson-Anspach 
Mortuary with the Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian 
Burial will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic 
Church at 10:30 a.m. for Adelina Montoya, 83, who passed away on May 2, 2005. 
Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. 

Adelina was born on March 29, 1922, in Colorado to Jose and Rita Maestas. 
Adelina loved to dance, cook and she was known for keeping her grandchildren 
in line. Adelina was an Auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary.

Adelina is preceded in death by her parents; son, Candelario Montoya; 
granddaughter, Angela Adelina Castruita; brothers, Jose Maestas, Felix 
Maestas; sister, Amada Blondie Estrada. She is survived by her son, David 
Montoya; daughters, Charlotte Ybañez and Reyecitas Castruita; brother, Gilbert 
Maestas; sisters, Maria Veronica Contreras and Viola Lidia Daniel; 12 
grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and 
numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be David Montoya Jr., Raul Montoya, Joe Castillo Jr., Armando 
Castruita, Anthony Paul Garcia, Gilbert Ybañez. Honorary Pallbearers, Danny 
Maestas and David Contreras.
