Ruth Ann Mandel 
Nov. 10, 1943 - Aug. 25, 2005 

Ruth left us on August 25, 2005 to be with her loving parents. Ruth was born 
in Bakersfield, CA and lived most of her life there. She is survived by her 
husband of 42 years, Bill; two sons, Scott of Bakersfield and Jason of NC; 
granddaughters, Devin and Kayla of NC, and many loving friends and extended 
family members who will all miss her very much. Mother please go before us and 
lay out a loving path to our creator and spend the time you missed with your 
mother and father as now you deserve that time you missed so much in life. We 
all know we will see you soon and that you are smiling down upon us without 
pain. We love and miss you. Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there, 
I do not sleep. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened 
grain; I am the gentle autumns rain. When you awaken in the mornings hush, I 
am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft 
star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry I am not there; 
for I did not die.
