Placido Manuel 
Services: Thurs., July 7, 10 a.m. 

Funeral Services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 
Panama Lane, Thursday, July 7 at 10:00 a.m., for Placido Manuel, 77, who 
passed away July 3, 2005. Pastor Moises Garo will officiate. Placido was born 
on August 7, 1927 in the Philippines to Doroteo and Sotera. Placido was a 
member of The Way of Salvation Church. He was a farmer at heart, for 50 years 
he enjoyed all aspects of owning a farm and maintaining it. Dad loved all 
animals from chickens to goats to rabbits. He was a great husband, Dad and 
Grandpa, who will be greatly missed. Placido is survived by his wife, Josefina 
Manuel; daughter, Nora and Rodrigo Ballesteros; daughter, Virgie and Eme 
Celestino; son, Julio and Miriam; daughter Delia and Rolly Matias; son, 
Modesto and Rosalie; son, Placido Jr. and Matilde; son, Jaime and Cecile; son, 
Jessie and Judy; daughter, Pat and Edmund Villaluz; daughter, Melinda and 
Rogel Agustin; 22 grandchildren; and brothers, Mariano and Francisco Ignacio. 
Visitation begins Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
