Joseph Henry Martin III 
Jan. 21, 1959 - Aug. 29, 2005 

Services: Fri., Sept. 2, 1:00 p.m. Services will be held on Friday, September 
2, 2005, at 1:00 p.m., at St. Francis Catholic Church, 900 H Street, 
Bakersfield, for Joseph Henry Martin III, who passed away after a brief battle 
with cancer, on August 29, 2005, in Bakersfield, California. Joseph was 
preceded in death by his father, Joseph Martin II, in 1974 and his brothers, 
Timothy and Danny, in 2002. He is survived by his mother, Beverley Martin 
Carroll of Tehachapi; sons, Joseph and Loren Martin of Bakersfield; son, Cpl. 
LVN Jeffry Martin, U.S. Army and wife, Crystal of San Antonio, Texas; 
daughter, Vanessa and husband, Cpl. U.S. Coast Guard Matt McGhee of Ketchikan, 
Alaska; daughter, Natalie of Bakersfield; brother, Peter Martin and wife, 
Donna of Bakersfield; sisters, Chrys Kinsella and husband, Bill, Mary Ann 
Hornbeck and husband, John of Tehachapi; and sisters, Laura Villacana of 
Tehachapi, Elizabeth Martin and Jennifer Martin of Bakersfield; and numerous 
nieces, nephews and friends. As you prayed, Joey, we are trusting in the Lord. 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Joes favorite charity: Franklin 
Grahams Samaritans Purse.
