Elsa A. Mata 
April 30, 1953 - June 5, 2005 

Elsa was born in Mexico and raised in Texas. She moved to California in 1969 
and married Frank Mata. She passed away on June 5, 2005, with her family by 
her side after bravely battling cancer for several years. Elsa is survived by 
her husband, Frank Mata; her children, Patricia, Frank Jr., Jerry and Jesse. 
She is also survived by her grand-children, Richard, Desiree, Alaina, Arana 
and Melani as well as her sisters and brothers. A Funeral Mass will be held 
Friday, June 10, 10:30 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church, 9915 Ramos Ave. Interment 
will follow at Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery.
