We never imagined a day without you, let alone 2 years. Life has taught us there isnt any easy answers. We are an incomplete puzzle with the most important piece missing. Remember how you would jokingly say you would be lost without me. Well, you were right. There isnt a day I dont question myself about this or that. In my head, I know God has a plan for all of us and you are in a better place, but my heart doesnt get it yet. Connor is such an old soul. He tells about all the things you and God are doing. He says everything is going to be ok. He is so wise for being so young. Your picture sits next to his bed and he says he hearts you. He still is eating pancakes and sausage but now at the Hidden Café. Sophia is educating J & Jill on parenting. I see a lot of me in her. She is never wrong and is so stubborn. She sees your picture and says my papa. I know they will never forget you. Connor and Sophia will be at St. Francis in the fall. Roger, you are supposed to be here for all of this. J and Jill did all the painting of the new shop. Jill did the decorating. They did a great job. J is working hard with the business keeping everything running smooth keeps him pretty busy. He hasnt fired me yet. I inherited your friend Peggy. Thank You. She has been a God sent time and time again. Funny how that worked out. Connor says now you are an Angel and are watching over us & guiding us. We love & miss you. Ruby, J, Jill, Connor and Sophia Legacy.com Published in the Bakersfield Californian on 7/16/2005.
