Daryl McClanahan
Services: Fri., Mar. 18, 11:00 a.m.

Graveside funeral services will be held in the West Side District Cemetery on 
Friday, March 18, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. for longtime Taft resident, Daryl 
McClanahan, 53. 

Daryl was born on July 7, 1951, in Porterville and went home to be with the 
Lord on March 15, 2005, in Taft. Daryl was a kind, generous man who loved to 
hunt, fish and was an avid NHRA racing fan. He was a successful farmer in the 
Old River area.

Daryl was preceded in death by his brother, Larry McClanahan and by his 
grandmother, Beatrice Bartley. His survivors include his wife, Linda 
McClanahan of Taft; his children, Jarrod McClanahan and his wife, Kimberly of 
Taft and Amanda McClanahan of Nashville, Tennessee; his granddaughter, 
Roxanne; his parents, Kenneth and Lois McClanahan of Bakersfield; his brother, 
Keith McClanahan and his wife, Pat of Bakersfield; and his nephew, Brian 
McClanahan of Bakersfield.

There are no visitation hours scheduled and the arrangements are under the 
direction of the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest that donations be made in Mr. 
McClanahans name to the American Cancer Society, 1523 California Avenue, 
Bakersfield, CA 93304.
