Etna Deloris McCoy-Schafer 
Services: Friday, May 20, 1:00 p.m. 

Etna Deloris McCoy-Schafer was born on January 31, 1931, in Yakima, Washington 
and passed away on May 16, 2005, in Bakersfield, CA. Loving wife of Harold 
Schafer and mother of Sally and Robert. Etna is preceded in death by her 
daughter, Linda Sue Emdy. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great-
grandchildren. Etna worked as a Drive-In Theatre Manager for 40 years and 
spent the last three years working as President of the Council of the Blind 
and Visually Impaired, in Bakersfield, CA. She will be missed by many. 
Graveside service will be held Friday, May 20, 1:00 p.m., at Forest Lawn 
Hollywood Hills.
