MONTANAS DADDY Dear Family and Friends: Go ahead and mention my child. The one 
that died, you know. Dont worry about hurting me further. The depth of my pain 
doesnt show. Dont worry about making me cry. Im already crying inside. Help me 
to heal by releasing the tears that I try to hide. Im hurt when you just keep 
silent, pretending he didnt exist. Id rather you mention my child, knowing 
that he has been missed. You ask me how Im doing. I say pretty good or fine. 
But healing is something ongoing. I feel it will take a lifetime. When a child 
loses both parents, we call them an orphan. When a wife loses a spouse, we 
call her a widow. But, when a child dies, we dont have a name for that loss. I 
guess its just so awful, we cant put a name on it. You brought us joy, Love, 
Mom and Dad, and your only daughter Montana
