Maxine (Mackie) Ringler 
Services: Fri., Aug 12, 11:00 a.m. 

Maxine Mackie Ringler was born in Staples, Minnesota, on August 3, 1922, to 
Alexander and Maude McGillivary. She was the 11th of 13 children. She is 
survived by her husband of 65 years, Douglas; brother, Bill McGillivary and 
sister, Rita Wiltermuth of Minn.; 3 children, son and daughter-in-law, Douglas 
and Elizabeth of Morro Bay; 2 daughters, Barbara Benge and Carol Rink, both of 
Bakersfield; 6 grandchildren, Michael Benge, Tara Garrett, Kimberly Sanders, 
Deborah Rink, Sarah and Katy Ringler and 10 great-grandchildren. She was a 
proud 20-year member of the Kern River Valley Eagles Auxiliary Aerie #315. Mom 
and Dad enjoyed several years traveling in their motor home, spending time 
with the Bakersfield Eagles Aerie #93 members and camper club. Mackies legacy 
to her children and grandchildren is her strength and courage. We will forever 
cherish all the wonderful memories and we will love and miss her dearly. 
Graveside services, officiated by the Bakersfield Eagles Auxiliary Aerie #93, 
will be held Friday, August 12, 2005, 11:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Southwest 
Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Ln. Viewing will be Thursday, August 11, 2005, from 
1-9 p.m.
