Virginia Ruth Lanterman
October 12, 1907 - May 3, 2005

Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., located 
at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary. 

Virginia was born on October 12, 1907, to Mary Elizabeth and James Madison 
McLeary, in Tennessee. She moved to California at the age of 20 to live for a 
time with her sister in Pomona. There she met and married Herbert Roscoe 
Lanterman on October 14, 1929.

She is survived by her six loving children: daughter, Elsie Suburu and 
husband, Don; son, David Lanterman and wife, Carol; son, Darrell Lanterman; 
son, Ernest Lanterman and wife, Janet; son, Carl Lanterman and wife, Eleanor; 
son, Kenneth Lanterman and wife, Joyce; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-
grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
