McNall in Santa Barbara, California. She was Honored Queen of Jobs Daughters Bethel 18, and attended the local State Teachers College (now UCSB) until marriage to Paul E. Woods in 1939. Together four sons were born. After WWII, the family moved to Bakersfield where Dorothy became active in the Toastmistress Club, Presbyterian Church of the Master Womens Circle, Cub Scouts of America (Den Mother) and Demoley Mothers Club. She is Past President of Ogdoos Council in Orange County and the local Ekostos Proctos Council as well as five times President of Epsilon Beta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Sorority. She is Past Matron of Libertas Chapter Eastern Star, Past President of the Emera Club and Past President of the Daughters of the Nile. Dorothy was an avid card player and loved bridge. Dorothy is survived by her four sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Roderick (wife, Jiffy), Michael McNall (wife, Jolene), Doug Emory (wife, Rae) and Steven Carter (wife, Glenda); eleven grandchildren and one great- grandchild. She had requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Heartspring, a center disabled children at 8700 E. 29th St. North, Wichita, KS 67226, Ph: 1-800-835-1043, or Odyssey Hospice at 3701 Pegasus Dr., Bakersfield, CA 93308.
