Stanley Leroy Mills 
August 19, 1942 - July 8, 2005 

Chapel services will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2005, 1:00 p.m., at Hillcrest 
Memorial Park. Interment will follow. Stanley Leroy Mills of Edison, CA, died 
peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Ad he would tell us, Just changed 
zip codes, from here to Heaven. He fought cancer with a positive attitude and 
even made an educational video for the church to show the youth that smoking 
isnt cool and catches up with you. He said if that could impact one person, it 
was worth it. He continued to praise God for each day. He will always be 
remembered for his witty sense of humor, his Patriotic spirit, love for God 
and Family. We will miss his wisdom, knowledge and guidance. He was a retired 
Capitan of the Kern Co. Fire Department. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, 
shooting, music, church and in every small thing he saw beauty and detail from 
God. Now he is free to dance, sing and ask all the questions to God he ever 
wanted to. We look forward to that sweet day we will see him again. He is 
survived by his wife, children, family and friends.
