Ernest Dearborn Mitchell 
1906 - 2005 

Ernest Dearborn Mitchell, retired blueprint press operator, WWII home front 
worker, 99 years young, died September 2nd of natural causes. He was born May 
24, 1906, in Lynn, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie 
and son, Robert. Ernest is survived by his daughter, Lynette and her husband, 
Phillip Anderson of Bakersfield, four grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren. Graveside services will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 
Wednesday, September 7, 2005, at 2:00 p.m.
