James H. Montgomery Jr.

Very early on Sunday, June 12, 2005, God took into His arms and called James 
Henry Jr. Montgomery home. He was a son, father, brother and uncle. He will be 
deeply missed and remembered, as he had such a lasting effect on those who 
knew him. James was born March 14, 1960, in Anniston, Alabama to James and 
Prinnis Montgomery. He was the youngest of five children. He was raised in 
Bakersfield, CA. He later moved to Oklahoma City, OK, in 2001. His father, 
James Montgomery Sr. preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory, 
his mother, Prinnis Montgomery of Bakersfield, CA; daughters, Prinnis 
Montgomery of Seattle, WA, Jamesha and Kelly Montgomery, both of Bakersfield, 
CA; sons, Tyler and Kyle Montgomery, both of Bakersfield, CA; his sisters, 
Janice Montgomery of Reno, NV, Vernice Lawrence and Teresa Boys, both of 
Oklahoma City, OK; a brother, Henry Jerome Montgomery of Bakersfield, CA; and 
a host of nephews, nieces and close friends that will miss him dearly. Viewing 
will start Friday, June 24, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. with an hour of meditation to 
be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the Chapel of Ruckers Mortuary. A 
celebration of his life will be held Saturday, June 25, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., 
at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 1401 E. Brundage Ln. Rev. Tyree D. 
Toliver is officiating with interment to follow at Union Cemetery.
