Lorie Lynn Moore was called home to be with our Lord, on May 29th. She was taken to watch over her mother, Beverly Bentley, father, Elmer Moore, son, Joseph, daughter, Shawna, brothers, Robert Stewart, Michael Crismas and James C. Moore, sisters, Verna Jo Lee, Kimberly Rae Forrest, Brianna Weeks and Sissy Juobert, and a very large extended family that will miss her very much. Lorie was born April 10, 1967, in Bakersfield, while her father served in the Vietnam War. She graduated from Foothill High School in 1985. After deciding to see what the world had to offer, she went north and ended up working on crab boats in Alaska, a job most men won't do because of the danger. She spent time in most of the west, especially Montana, but ended up back in Bakersfield. Lorie was fast to make friends, and even faster to help a stranger. She always believed that a stranger needing help was an angel looking to help you. She will always live in our heart, and we will miss her more with each passing day. Go with God, our Little Angel And we will join you at a later time. Legacy.com Published in the Bakersfield Californian on 6/4/2005.
