Adelmira Neira 
Services: Today, Dec. 22, 10 a.m. 

Chapel services will be today December 22, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., in Doughty-
Calhoun-OMeara Chapel for Adelmira Neira, 72, who passed away December 20, 
2005, in Bakersfield, California. Adelmira was born on February 21, 1933 and 
went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2005. She is preceded in death 
by her sons, Raul, Horencio, Jesus Jr. and daughter, Martha; and is survived 
by Juan, Manuel, Rosalba, Olga, Samuel, Estela, Louisa, Reynaldo, Irma and 
Cirilo; 27 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Mom was a woman of great 
character. She was our family foundation that instilled the meaning of what 
unconditional love meant. Mom devoted all her love, time and energy to each of 
us. She taught us the true definition of hard work but yet the importance of 
family value. Her door was always open and she never accepted a thank you 
without saying her famous line of dont thank me-pay me. She always wanted her 
lip-i-stick and when you would tell her that you loved her she would say me 
three. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her but most of all by her 
loving family who cherished her every breath. Have your lip-i-stick ready Mom 
when we are all reunited again. She went home to be with the Lord but her 
memory will live in our hearts forever! We love you!
