Sept. 26, 2005 Memorial Services will be held Monday, September 26, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Crossroads Christian Fellowship, 5115 Office Park Dr. Tami was born on Jan. 14, 1959 in Pasadena, CA to Robert and Joyce Norgard. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jeff. She is survived by her husband, Troy and three daughters, Destini, Chantel and Katie, along with her brothers and sisters, Chris, Dirk, Robin, Shawn, Kim, Mike, Adam and Jenny; many nieces and nephews; her in-laws, Ray and Marlene Barton. Tami lived in Bakersfield for many years and had many friends and clients in her 17 years at Bank of America. Our tremendous loss is Gods gain, another saint has gone home. We have not lost Tami because we know where she is and it is not goodbye, its rather we will see you later. Tami lived her life in a very slow profile manner. Never wanting attention to be brought to her, but rather giving and loving others. She never complained about her courageous 6 years struggle with cancer, she just knew this was her cross to bear. She carried that cross with such love and dignity that many people lives were changed because of her unrelenting determination and her joyous attitude. She measured her life not by material things, but by being the greatest wife a husband could have, being a mother that nurtured and loved her children beyond compare and cultivating long and enduring friendships. What a legacy to leave this world. She left us too soon, but we thank God for the time we had her in our lives. The hole in our hearts is huge, but we rejoice that she is in heaven now. We love you more than this world will ever know, but you knew how much we loved you. We never left anything unsaid. We will miss you and we were very blessed to have you. In Lieu of flowers donations to Relay for Life will be greatly appreciated. All our love, your family and friends. Legacy.com Published in the Bakersfield Californian from 9/24/2005 - 9/25/2005.
