Clara J. Schmidt Nale 
October 3, 1914 - August 9, 2005 
Services: Fri., Aug. 19, 11:00 a.m. 

Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., at 
Grace Community Church in Wasco for Clara Jean Nale, 90, of Wasco, who passed 
away on August 9, 2005, in Delano. Pastor Jim Wheeler and Bill Fox will 
officiate. Private graveside services were held earlier at Wasco Memorial 
Park. Clara Schmidt Nale was born near Lodi, CA, on October 3, 1914, the 
daughter of Henry H. Schmidt and Martha Rauscher. She moved to Shafter as a 
small child where she attended the local schools, graduating from Shafter High 
School in 1933. She married James Nale of Wasco in 1933 and spent the majority 
of her married life (70 years) as a homemaker and mother in Wasco. She was 
preceded in death by her husband, Jim Nale; son, Jimmie Nale and his wife, 
LaVonne; and daughter, Wanda Crawford. She is survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 
great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; and son-in-law, Vernon Crawford of Wasco. In 
lieu of flowers, please honor Clara by making donations to Pastor Levi 
Pagsuberons Missionary efforts in the Philippines. The address is Pastor Levi 
Pagsuberon, P.O. Box 23, 6130 La Carlota City, Philippines.
