Helen Ruth Nelson

Born August 4, 1929
Passed on to her Heavenly Father Tuesday, March 22, 2005 

Helen was a longtime resident of Bakersfield and has resided in Bullhead City, 
AZ since 1985. She and her husband of over 50 years enjoyed the last twenty 
years of her life in retirement. They together traveled the country seeing 
everything that interested them including visiting long lost relatives, 
frequent visits to their children and most importantly keeping close tabs on 
her beloved grandchildren.

Helen is survived by her loving husband, Hervey; her oldest son, Michael with 
his wife, Greta; her youngest son, Brad and his wife, Pam, and of course her 
reason for living, her four grandchildren, Thea Emily, Michael Wade, Jesson 
Andrew and Cody Alan. Her baby sister, Barb Coogle, Favorite cousin, Maryanne 
Fehringer and husband, Clance; and her nephew William Robinson who she 
considered her third son also survive her.

Helen seemed to have gotten everything she had hoped for in life, Her Family. 
She taught us to face life with courage and although a brief battle with 
cancer, it was a courageous fight. She taught our entire family how to die 
with faith, courage and loving grace. She will be missed beyond any words 
expressed.

A private memorial in Bullhead City is pending.
